你好！I’m Shiran, a 30-something lady who’s addicted to making and eating sweets. I’m so glad you stopped by because it probably means that you like sugar, too, which means I like you already. I’ll have to warn you though that while reading this blog you may notice you’ve gained a few pounds before setting foot in the kitchen, but don’t worry. That’s completely normal.
As you might guess I have a slight obsession with food, especially if it has sugar and butter in it. I could live on chocolate cakes and babkas, which is kind of what I do already, but luckily I’ve inherited some good genes.
我左ive with my little lady Danielle, the sweetest thing in the entire world, and my husband Erez, who loves food almost as much as I do. Cookies always tend to disappear when he’s around. He’s also an integral part of this blog—the technical guy, the spiritual guy, the bread baker, and my favorite taste test buddy, mostly because he likes everything I make. We live right in the center of a huge bustling city, but up yabo竞猜 on my balcony the sun is almost always shining and I get to have quiet, slow mornings while sipping coffee and instagramming a bit too much. And if it ever gets lonely, my favorite bakery, coffee shop, or friend is only a block or two away.
So this is what I do. I bake, I take photos, I write, and in my remaining time I do whatever it is you need to do while self-employed like bookkeeping, technical stuff, and a million of other boring things. And throughout it all, I eat. Perhaps a bit too much, I’d say. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it!
The recipes you’ll find in this blog are the result of my cravings. I bake what I feel like eating, which is usually something that has to do with chocolate, bananas, peanut butter, or caramel. I’m also pretty lazy sometimes, so most of my recipes are simple.
